What makes a leader?
I learned a long time ago that the best manager is someone who knows the limits of their own knowledge and abilities and hires people accordingly. I know it’s hard to tell the difference these days, but the most effective leaders aren’t celebrities scrambling for camera time by any means necessary. Leaders are the ultimate managers, and when they’re doing the best job, we barely even know they’re there at all.
Leaders are the ones people go to privately for help and support; it may well be where they accomplish the most good.
Never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
