Dear one,
This quote took me back to a conversation with a friend a few years ago, when he first told me “you give good Facebook.” I knew then as now that he meant it as a compliment, though I couldn’t help but realize the many layers present in such a statement.
I walk a fine line when it comes to social media, in that I strive to promote a positive message to diffuse some of the negativity we are inundated with these days. At the same time, I don’t want to mislead anyone into thinking that I have no problems, or that “it’s all good”.
Sometimes I’m an asshole. Ask anybody who knows me in person. I’m not perfect, I don’t live a perfect life, and I don’t want to. I just want to remind people that there is good out there, if we look for it.
Never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
