Dear one,
What are we in such a rush to do?
Today’s a holiday in the U.S., which means a day off. Instead of thinking “A day off! How blissfully relaxing!” I catch myself putting together checklists of things I can get done. Then I reminded myself that it’s a holiday, and I’ve been working hard.
Sure, there are things I could get done today, but there will always be items on that list. Today I’m going to slow down and just enjoy my life for no reason other than I want to. There isn’t going to be an award for the person who had an empty To Do list when they got to the end of their life. Slow down.
Never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
