Dear one,
Even when you aren’t sure who you are, I’m here to tell you that you are unique for a reason. No one exists who can bring what you offer to the world with the same combination of traits that you’ve got. So let’s not get caught up in the shuffle of trying to be someone we’re not, because who you are is pretty great.
Maybe there are things about yourself that you’d like to change, and that’s ok. We all feel that way sometimes. But I want you to know that who you are matters, and anyone who wants to change you to fit their image of who and what you should be does not deserve you because they can’t see the gift that you are. Don’t let them turn you into someone else to make them more comfortable.
Never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
