Dear one,
I’ve talked before about why it is important to avoid comparing yourself to others. This quote sums it up in a profound and beautiful way. One of the reasons I lean so heavily on my philosophy that we all speak a different individual language is to avoid the pitfalls of judging people based on ill-fitting criteria.
Take the time to learn your own language and you’ll see that the criteria by which you have been judging yourself might not be the barometer you think it is. Instead of illuminating your weaknesses, shine that spotlight on your strengths. The more we get down on ourselves for not measuring up, the greater the psychological impact. We’re literally causing ourselves trauma and subconsciously trying to be someone we’re not.
Be you. No one else can.
Never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
