It’s easy to talk about what makes you miserable, sad, or angry. Talking about what makes you happy requires you to be present, aware, and appreciative.
Today I want to challenge you to an exercise of gratitude. Every time you feel the desire to complain about something, press pause on the complaint and think of something that makes you happy. Spend 60 seconds dwelling on the happy and then give yourself 60 seconds to complain about the thing that’s irritating you.
Never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
