Stop comparing yourself to others. Life is not a competition. We’re all going to die in the end, and every minute we spend being upset that we don’t measure up is 60 seconds of wasted life.
I don’t measure up to anyone, and I never will. The good news is that I don’t want to. Their measures are not mine, and I don’t want them to be. Please understand that you are a one-off, an original. There is no one who brings your unique perspective and personality to the conversation. That means you matter. YOU MATTER.
It means you are important, and that your story is important. And in case you forgot after the 283 previous times I’ve said it here, never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
