Dear one,
Change is not a solitary event. It is a process that is never complete. It’s a deeply personal thing regardless of our intent. Things changing around us makes it almost inevitable that we will change as well.
The Tolstoy quote reminds us to keep our eye on ourselves, and I would only add that changing ourselves does in fact change the world.
It is only when we are an active participant that we have the power to influence outcomes. Don’t fear change, embrace it. Don’t wait for it to happen, be a change maker.
