Dear one,
This is a love letter about recovery. If you don’t think that applies to you because you don’t have a problem with drugs or alcohol, I’d like to remind you that we all have something in our lives from which we need to recover.
I don’t care how many times you have tried.
I don’t care how many bridges you have burned.
I don’t care about the scars that will never fade.
I don’t care about your police record.
I don’t care where you sleep.
I don’t care if we agree.
I care about you.
Today.
Now.
Not who you were, but who you are.
Never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
Love,
