Do you know the difference between being alive and living?
Alive is an adjective. It describes you. If you’re breathing and you have a heartbeat, you’re alive. Machines can even do that for you. Live is a verb. It describes what you’re doing. You can be alive without doing a damn thing, but you can’t live without action.
Complacency is what happens when you stop living and settle for simply being alive. Break free of the complacency that holds you back and give yourself permission to explore the life that’s waiting on the other side of your fear.
