Dear one,
I’ve stared at the screen of my MacBook for an hour this morning trying to decide which topic I wanted to write on for you. There is no dearth of ideas and notes, but something caused me to pause every time I started. It wasn’t until I looked at the clock and saw how much time had passed that I knew what I needed to tell you.
Don’t settle, dear one. Don’t rush. When the right thing comes along, you’ll know it. Take your time and don’t water yourself down to make yourself more palatable. Whether it’s a relationship or a new career, settling for something that isn’t right is a recipe for long-term discord and unhappiness.
Sit with the silence; it has a lot to teach you. You’ll learn a lot about yourself along the way.
Never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
