Attacking a symptom is nothing more than putting a BAND-AID® on an infected wound and wondering why it doesn’t heal. Ever have a dog with a wound they won’t leave alone? That’s you, except when we’re talking about things in our lives that we want to change, a cone of shame is not the solution.
Stop allowing yourself to be distracted by the symptoms and do what it takes to get to the true root of the problem. Address the root and you’ll be on the right track toward getting through it and breaking the cycle once and for all.
