Please stop trying to fix people.
No matter how well-intentioned you are, it isn’t going to work. More often than not, it will backfire and you will end up being viewed as the villain regardless of your intent. Work on your own issues, make peace with your own brokenness, and remember that you are not responsible for the behavior of others. You are also not responsible for the ramifications of that behavior. Trying to save someone from the fallout of their own behavior is not doing them – or you – a service.
Never forget that I love you, and that excludes no one.
